Day Thirteen - Monday??

Day thirteen and the day after Sunday. Monday's are known by most to be the most difficult day of the week. Back to work, back to the grindstone, back to the routine. Well, it is also the day that can be filled with satanic attack and/or spiritual opportunity, as well as spiritual blessings.

We must realize God's people are protected - we are blessed with God's Grace. But Satan will try to sneak in with a subtle approach, undetected, and pull you out from under the covering of the blessings of the Lord. That is why living the Spirit-filled life is so essential. You cannot go it alone.

God puts you in a place of blessing where He can pour His Grace out onto you. The enemy knows that as long as you stay under the covering of the Father, he cannot hinder you from fulfilling the purposes God has outlined for you. When you come out from under the authority God has placed over your life, you are subject to Satan's wiles. When you walk under God's authority, He grants you authority over the underworld.

Everything you need to thrive and triumph, you already possess. Appropriate God's truth into your heart today and watch Satan flee. You are no competition for him, and yet he is unequipped to face God. They are not equals. Seek and receive God's Spirit, study His Word and seek His counsel in prayer by listening, more so than talking.

If you are reading this on Monday, 1/29, you have just come through an amazing worship experience on Sunday. I seldom, if ever, get to ask this question on a Monday.
What did you get yesterday to help you today?

Just a reminder that we repeated the phrase multiple times:
Jesus is Lord!
Can you, will you, use not just the phrase, but the reality to you advantage in facing down the world, the devil, and even yourself? Talk back to the devil, confront the world, and remind yourself as often as you need that Jesus is Lord and that is, and He is, a game changer.

Read John 10:10
The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but our Lord brings abundant life. On Sunday, we hear the truth, on Monday, we have the chance to apply it. Practice what was preached. On Sunday, I preached Jesus. "Practice" Jesus!!!

In Christ,
Pastor Todd
