The Danger of Doing Things Our Way

2 Samuel 6:1-8

As we quickly approach the start of yet another new year I plan to speak to you about the dangers of doing things our way instead of doing them God's Way even when Him and His Plans do not make sense to us.

Most of us have learned that disobedience displeases God and obedience brings the blessing of God. Our way is a sorry way. It seems right to us or it would not be our way, but it often leads to trouble.

We will consider a man, Uzzah, who got too comfortable with the things of God and he handled Holy things carelessly. He forgot his place and it cost him his life.
