As I write this, I have the passing of Bro. Dan Griggs on my mind. Dan fought and saw a lot of action while serving our great Nation. I am better for having known him. However, like everyone I know, including myself, of course, he was far from perfect, just like our Nation itself. Every objective American knows that we are the greatest Nation on earth that has also committed many errors around the world, as well as here at home. The Bible is full of heroes, but only one flawless person: Jesus the Christ.

We are all running the race of life. America 250 and counting. Dan's earthly story which, like so many, has concluded. Ours, like America, is still being written.

How are you running?? Make today count for good. Today nor tomorrow will be perfect but strive to do just a little better each day.
