"What We Do Matters"

Matthew 25: 31-46

In our text Sunday Christ makes it clear that Sheep/Believers come to the aid of their fellow man particularly fellow saints.

 Jesus said, "Whom much is given from them much will be required; and to whom much has been committed of whom they will ask the more."

Let me remind you of four simple truths that we know to be true:

1. Needs are abundant

2. We are all greatly blessed

3. Little is much when God is in it

4. We cannot outgive God

One of my jobs as your Pastor is to funnel our resources for missions, ministry and benevolence not just for sake of those in need but for the blessing our church body will receive in giving, sharing and serving. Great is our Heavenly and Earthly reward when we give unto the Lord. Honestly, what good is having anything if it can't be shared, enjoyed and appreciated by others. Be smart, yes! Be stingy, never!

"None so blind as those who choose not to see"

May God open the eyes of our hearts that we might not only see Him high lifted up but that we might see those who have needs that we should meet.

If you are not giving, sharing and serving you are not just robbing God but you are cheating yourself out of the greatest blessing of all,
