'More Like You, O Lord"

1 Kings 1-4

 Jesus asked Blind Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" God asked Solomon, "What shall I give you?" I believe that our Heavenly Father and our Lord continue to ask those questions of us today. No sweeter question can be asked? When someone asks that, we assume they are genuine and concerned. We assume they want to help us. It should be our practice to ask those things of our loved ones. If you want to show love this Valentine's Day weekend these questions would be a good start. It is humbling when a wife or husband ask that of the other. It should be very moving to know that our God is asking these things of you right now.
